Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (former Szent István University)
The rich history of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) dates back to the 18th century. With such a long history and legacy of excellence, MATE stands as a central pillar of higher education in Hungary and throughout the region. We consider lessons learned from the most successful European universities and we combine our traditions with the solutions of modern ages. Our long-term objective is to make MATE one of the thirty best agricultural higher education universities in the world.
This city is a big one and a beautiful one. It is not that well known in Western Europe, but I fell in love with it. It offers a lot of beautiful places and it is also very student friendly. Everyday there is a lot to do and to see.
