Education Experience

Education Experience* is a team within the university that focuses on the needs of students, teachers, and staff by gathering their insights and experience to advise Wageningen University & Research (WUR). The aim is to enhance the offered services.

* The names Student Experience and Teacher Experience are used as well.

We are a small team of 4 working within the Education & Student Affairs department. We are ambassadors of customer experience and hope that all departments within WUR take their customers' needs very seriously in developing their services.

What do we do?

We organise sessions every period of the academic year on certain topics. During these sessions, students and/or teachers & staff will discuss them and provide their feedback. We will then process this input and the insights gained will be used to advise the university on how to improve education at WUR.

Continuous Professional Development

The Teaching & Learning Centre (TLC) of WUR would like to know what kind of training is needed for teachers in order to develop professionally. What is it that teachers need, how can it benefit their recognition and rewarding, and how can TLC change their services accordingly. During interactive sessions using the awareness method (based on empathy mapping) small groups of teachers will work on this.
