Committee Activities Support (CAS)

The Committee for Activity Support (CAS) at Wageningen University provides financial support to recognized student organizations for activities that contribute to student development. These can include educational, cultural, or social projects.

Examples of activities:

  • Cultural activities: concerts and performances
  • Educational activities: lectures, symposia, and workshops
  • Introduction weekends for study associations
  • Excursions: day or multi-day trips
  • Board training sessions

    Note: Parties, galas, or social drinks are not eligible for support.

What are the requirements for an application?

  • Relevance: Your activity must be educational, cultural, or socially relevant to WUR students.
  • Own contribution: CAS covers up to 50% of activity costs (check the regulations for details).
  • Applicants: Only associations or foundations can apply.
  • Cost efficiency: Keep expenses low and use the subsidy wisely by choosing cost-effective options.
  • Minimum amount: The requested subsidy must be at least €50 per application.
