Yalelo Uganda is a leading aquaculture company that
specializes in growing fresh, sustainably raised tilapia fish in the waters of
Lake Victoria close to Jinja. Established in 2019, Yalelo has quickly become a
market leader in Uganda, known for its high-quality, affordable fish. The
company aims to produce 30,000 tonnes of tilapia annually within the next five
years Yalelo’s operations include breeding fish in hatcheries and raising them
in large cages in Lake Victoria, ensuring a healthy and natural environment
for the fish. They supply fresh tilapia to various markets in Uganda, Kenya,
