Dutch Dairy Student Challenge (DDSC)

In the Dutch Dairy Student Challenge, students will work together in an inter-disciplinary team and in close collaboration with the industry on the question: “How can dairy farms still exist in the future, in a healthy, sustainable and economically feasible way, from the perspective of the animals, the environment, as well as the farmers?”. Since the transition to a sustainable dairy industry that respects animals and the environment is a complex endeavour, there is a need for solutions.

Third-year Bachelor students and Master students are encouraged to join this challenge and use a trans-disciplinary approach to come up with innovative projects. This challenge will run from the 10th of March until the 15th of May 2025 and the study load is 6 ECTS. Students should preregister first through the preregistration form no later than the 20th of December. The deadline for the definitive registration is on the 12th of January 2025.
