Roundtable - Bangladesh Agriculture, Future Issues and Opportunities
On Monday 6 May 2024 the Embassy of Bangladesh in the Netherlands, Wageningen University & Research (WUR) and the University of Saskatchewan are convening a hybrid Roundtable.
Join key policy-makers, entrepreneurs, academics, and researchers as they address key questions on production, distribution, and climate resilience in the world’s largest, active delta.
Beyond past five decades of progress, what challenges remain for farming and food security in Bangladesh? How can stakeholders roll out knowledge, technology and innovation in an effective and sustainable manner? What opportunities will encourage entrepreneurs and startups to accelerate agricultural innovation?
With participation of regional and international experts, the Roundtable will strive to move beyond conventional dialogue, and identify what can be undertaken/initiated, practically and impactfully.
Join us online or in person in Wageningen! The Roundtable will start at 14.00 hours and ends at 17.00 hours (CET). In Wageningen we will continue with a networking event until 18.00 hours.
