Open Modeling Foundation Meeting
Wageningen University and Research (WUR) is a member of The Open Modeling Foundation (OMF). OMF is an alliance of modelling organisations that coordinates and administers a common, community-developed body of standards and best practices among diverse communities of modelling scientists.
WUR has graciously agreed to host the next meeting of all Members’ Council representatives on 15-16 May 2024. This is an opportunity for updates on the growing activities of OMF, as well as for WUR to provide important, strategic input regarding the direction of the OMF and share our progress on modelling at WUR. The WMG (Wageningen Modeling Group) warmly welcomes this event and will support Ioannis Athanasiadis (Professor of AI and Data Science at Plant Sciences) as our delegate to the OMF.
The programme is still being put together. This is an in-person, invite-only meeting, though it is possible to participate remotely.
