CineScience: Hidden Figures

Hidden Figures sheds light on the untold stories of the women whose vital contributions to science were often overlooked. It reminds us that science is a team sport where breakthroughs come from many hands, even if some remain invisible. As times change, so do roles and recognition. Fittingly, CineScience now takes place in a building that once hosted academic ceremonies, now transformed into a movie theater. A symbol of new beginnings. This inaugural screening of the season during the official opening week of the new Visum Mundi will be introduced by Sjoukje Heimovaara, president of WUR, bridging the worlds of academia and cinema, much like the film connects innovation and the often hidden figures behind it.
