Researcher and teacher

I am interested in land and water engineering and management, aiming to provide nature-based solutions for drought, erosion, soil degradation, and pollution transport. I have done several projects in the Middle East region, focusing on rainwater harvesting, climate-smart agriculture, and enhancing the quality of teaching and research in higher education.

In terms of education, in WUR, I'm involved in teaching several courses, including "Land & Water Engineering" (SLM20306) and "Design in Land and Water Management 2" (WRM21312). Additionally, I supervise BSc and MSc students who are interested in topics such as climate-smart agriculture and rainwater harvesting, particularly in arid and semi-arid regions like MENA.

I believe that through working on sustainable development and through strong collaboration with affected regions, we can make a positive impact on the environment through innovative engineering and management practices.
