The event aims to facilitate a dynamic discussion between various stakeholders about the progress made on the agreement to establish a loss-and-damage fund for poorer and low-emitting countries at COP27. Sustainable finance, which aims to fund efforts that address environmental, social and governance objectives will also be a key topic in the discussion. Loss-and-damage fund and sustainable finance will be taken up in the context of climate change impacts on water and land governance in the Ganges and Mekong Deltas.
